Export a report
You can export any report in Better Reports to save, share, or analyse your data outside the app. This article explains how to export a report without using any advanced settings.
For advanced options, such as choosing delimiters, including report titles or filters, or setting page margins, see Advanced export options.
💡 Better Reports relies on Google Sheets to export all file types except CSV. For large or complex datasets, other export types may fail. In these cases, try exporting as CSV, as CSV files are generated directly by Better Reports.
- Open the report
- Select Export
- Select the export Format (CSV, Excel, PDF or HTML)
- Select Download
The exported file is downloaded to your device, usually to the Downloads folder.
💡 Bar/Line charts and Scatter plots can’t be exported as images. When exported, they convert to Table format. To capture a chart, take a screenshot directly in Better Reports. If you need an exportable visual, you can also export the table data and recreate the chart in a spreadsheet tool such as Excel or Google Sheets.
