Row limits for schedules and exports
Better Reports applies row limits to scheduled reports and exported files. These limits depend on how often a schedule runs and the export file type.
In this article:
Scheduled run row limits
Scheduled reports have row limits based on how frequently they are run:
| Run frequency | Row limit |
|---|---|
| Run manually (Run action) | 1 million rows |
| Once a day or less | 100,000 rows |
| More than once a day | 10,000 rows |
For matrix reports, rows are counted as populated cells, not the number of visible rows in the report.
Export format row limits
Some row and cell limits are set by the export file format itself.
| Export file type | Row limit |
|---|---|
| Excel | 1 million rows |
| Google Sheets | 10 million cells |
| CSV | No limit |
Working within row limits
If your report exceeds these limits, you can:
- Reduce how often the schedule runs
- Add filters to limit the amount of data returned
