Connector billing overview

Billing varies based on the connector you use. This article explains how charges appear and how payments are managed for each connector.

Shopify

For the Shopify connector, billing appears on your Shopify invoice as a recurring app subscription. You can view your current subscription amount in the Shopify admin under app subscriptions.

Once the free trial ends, your account automatically transitions to a paid subscription.


Stripe and Help Scout

Billing tab in Settings

For the Stripe and Help Scout connectors, you can use the free trial without adding a payment method. To continue using Better Reports after the trial ends, you must add a credit or debit card before the trial expires. If you don’t add a card, your Better Reports account is automatically disconnected.

You can add a card from the Billing section under the Settings tab. Your card is charged monthly based on the connector's pricing. You can also view upcoming and past invoices in the Billing section.

Billing is set up separately for each organisation. If multiple organisations connect the same account, each organisation is billed independently.

💡 Only members with the Admin role can update billing settings.
