Scheduled report allowance
In Better Reports, reports can be scheduled to deliver at set frequencies via email or to a Google Drive destination.
A scheduled run is each time Better Reports automatically generates and sends a scheduled report.
Shopify accounts have a fixed monthly allowance included in your subscription. Stripe and Help Scout accounts are billed based on actual usage.

Shopify
For Shopify accounts, your monthly scheduled run allowance is based on your Shopify plan type and included in the price of your subscription.

You can see how many runs are currently scheduled for the month, and your total monthly allowance, in the banner at the top of the Schedule tab.
Additional scheduled run pricing
If your scheduled runs reach your allowance, you’ll need to purchase additional monthly runs before creating new schedules. This additional cost is added to your monthly subscription charge.

How to add additional runs
Because of how Shopify's billing model works, adding runs requires a manual step. Contact our support team with the number of additional scheduled report runs you need. We’ll update your monthly allowance and ask you to approve the updated pricing. You can contact us at any time to reduce or remove additional scheduled runs from your subscription.
Pricing example
A Shopify Grow account includes 1,000 scheduled report runs per month. If the account purchases an additional 2,000 runs:
- The first 1,000 additional runs are charged at $0.04 per run ($0.04 x 1,000 = $40 USD)
- The next 1,000 additional runs are charged at $0.03 per run ($0.03 x 1,000 = $30 USD)
- Total additional monthly run cost: $70 USD
Stripe and Help Scout
For Stripe and Help Scout Standard accounts, scheduled runs are usage-based. Unlike Shopify accounts, billing adjusts automatically — no action needed on your end.
Standard accounts include up to 500 scheduled runs per month at no cost. You can create as many schedules as you need, and usage is billed automatically beyond that.
Pricing is progressive, meaning only runs within each range are charged at that range's rate.

Pricing example
If your account uses 1,500 scheduled runs in a month:
- The first 500 runs are included at no cost
- Runs 501 to 1,000 are charged at $0.05 per run ($0.05 x 500 = $25 USD)
- Runs 1,001 to 1,500 are charged at $0.04 per run ($0.04 x 500 = $20 USD)
- Total additional monthly run cost: $45 USD
