Navigate the Settings tab
The Settings tab lets you view and update your account-level configuration. This article explains how the Settings tab is structured and where to find the available options.
The Settings tab view in this article applies to Standard accounts. Shopify Integrated App accounts include fewer settings, as some options are managed through your Shopify store settings.
At the top of the page, the Settings tab (1) is highlighted in the navigation bar, indicating that you’re currently viewing the page.
The left-hand menu lists the available sections.
General
In the General section (2), you can manage settings that affect how data is grouped, displayed, and scheduled across your reports.
The General section includes the following options:
- Organization name (3): The name of your organization
- Week (4): Defines how weeks are segmented in reports
- Timezone (5): Determines the timezone used to run schedules and the time shown in report date fields
- Locale (6): Controls how dates and numbers are formatted in your reports
- Main currency (7): Sets the default currency used to format monetary values across reports
In Shopify Integrated App accounts, only Week and Locale are available in this section. The other settings are managed through your Shopify configuration.
After making changes, select Save (8) in the lower-right corner of the page to apply the updated settings.
Schedules
In the Schedules section (9), you can update email settings at the account level. These settings apply to all schedules by default, so you can update multiple schedules at once.
Schedules with customised email settings are not affected. If a schedule has its own email settings, those settings take priority over the account-level settings.
Data connections
In the Data connections section (10), you can view your current data connections or add new ones.
In Shopify Integrated App accounts, this section appears as Integrations, and the Data connections section is not available. The Integrations page displays other available connectors as a preview only. You cannot add or manage connectors from this page.

Users
In the Users section (11), you can view the current users who have access to Better Reports, along with their access level and status. You can also invite new users.
This section is not available in Shopify Integrated App accounts, as user permissions are managed by Shopify.
Billing
In the Billing section (12), you can:
- View or update your payment method
- View your upcoming invoice
- View or download past invoices
This section is not available in Shopify Integrated App accounts, as billing is managed by Shopify.
